Meet Your Dog Groomer in West Chester, OH

Hi, I’m Maggie — the heart and hands behind Wags by Mags. I started this business to give dogs something the big salons can’t: my full, undivided attention. Here, your pup is never one of many. You’ll always know exactly who is caring for your dog, and your dog will always be treated like my own.

My Story

A Passion for Pets, From Day One

My grooming career began at PetSmart in 2022, where I learned to work with dogs of every breed, size, and temperament. Watching both of my parents build successful businesses of their own gave me the push to do the same — so I set out to create a calmer, more personal kind of grooming.

Getting to spend my days caring for animals isn’t just my job; it’s a privilege. As a professional dog groomer in West Chester, I’ve built Wags by Mags around one simple idea: every dog deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and a little spoiled. That belief shapes every appointment, from the first sniff hello to the final bow.

Owner & Professional Dog Groomer

Hi, I’m Maggie, a passionate professional dog groomer dedicated to helping pets look and feel their best. With years of hands-on grooming experience, I have worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, providing safe, gentle, and personalized care for every pet I meet.

My love for animals inspired me to start my own grooming business, where I can focus on creating a stress-free, one-on-one experience for both pets and their owners. I believe grooming is about more than just appearance—it’s an important part of a dog’s health, comfort, and overall well-being.

Whether your pup needs a full groom, a bath and brush, nail trimming, or breed-specific styling, I take pride in delivering quality service with patience, attention to detail, and plenty of love.

I look forward to building lasting relationships with local pet families and helping your furry friends look their absolute best!

Plenty! Full grooms with breed-standard cuts, doodle grooming, spot trims, and bath & brush — plus deshedding, dematting, flea and tick treatments, enzymatic tooth brushing, and à la carte nail trims. I also offer gentle senior and comfort grooms and hypoallergenic baths. Every service includes nail trimming and filing, ear cleaning, and a bow or bandana to finish.
How long does grooming take?

Because I groom one dog at a time, timing depends on your dog's size, coat, and temperament. I never rush an appointment — your pup gets the time they need to stay calm and comfortable. I'm happy to give you an estimate when you book.

I accept cash and major credit/debit cards for all grooming services. If you have questions about payment before your appointment, feel free to reach out.

If your dog has matting, I'll safely assess their coat and recommend the most comfortable and humane grooming approach. In some cases, additional time or specialized care may be needed, and a small matting fee may apply.

Do you groom anxious or senior dogs?

Yes! My quiet, one-on-one grooming environment is especially well-suited for anxious, senior, or sensitive dogs. I work patiently at your dog's pace to help make each visit as calm and stress-free as possible.

What products do you use?

Most doodles benefit from professional grooming every 4–6 weeks to help prevent matting and keep their coat healthy. I'll be happy to recommend a grooming schedule based on your dog's coat type and lifestyle.

No. All grooming appointments take place at my grooming space inside The Fetchington Pet Hotel in West Chester, OH. This allows me to provide calm, one-on-one care in a safe and comfortable environment.
